Lisa Woods holds a Bachelor of Art and Design (Honours) from Central Saint Martin's College of Art & Design, London. She has tutored at UNITEC, MIT, ASA and Hungry Creek Art & Craft School.
I like my pieces to have a lush tactile historical quality. The stones are always the starting point in the design process and finding a way to hold them with metal in a simple pared back way.
The raw diamonds are fascinating with their natural octahedral crystal structure, colours, rawness and individuality so opposite to the white bright faceted diamonds that are cut from them.
