Kauwhanga is a single dimension sacred passageway for Atua.   The vastness of the universe we belong to can be seen in the pounamu piece, held in the hand of the wearer, it will be the largest thing in the room.  That all these things can exist at the same time, a physical manifestation of layers, dimensional space and scale.  A shell lei with a bone hanger are the collaborators.
