May's first major solo exhibition with the gallery introduces two stunning new bodies of work, Download series and Memory Items series. With these works May explores a subjective experience of talking therapy, within the context of treatment for anxiety and depression. She is interested in personal narratives, or the stories we tell to ourselves and others, about ourselves and our experiences.

Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland is currently at alert level 3 so May's exhibition will start online only and will be available to view in the gallery when we move to level 2, and we can welcome you all back to the gallery.
