Rongo visits the whare of Haumie and never leaves, their joining together creates Kahūtiaterangi.  Haumie and Rongo are a power couple, working within the same kaupapa spaces.  Sometimes difficult to tell them apart.  The banana seeds refer to Rongo, the wooden hanger, Haumie, holding them up. 

The pounamu carving shows them separately and together, rolling, tumbling, intertwining.
